Happy feelings, twinkling lights, baking, good food and drink, pretty wrapping paper, glittery decorations, festive films, spending time with loved ones, exchanging gifts and Christmas dinner! These are just some of the things that I love about this magical time of year ♥ However you plan on spending this day I wish you all a very Merry Christmas/Yuletide and I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
~ ♥ ~

A Merry Christmas and a Happy 2013 to you too! Are all these pretty pictures from your house? I just made some Peppermint Bark last night! That's a favorite holiday treat of mine. I love those package decorations, especially the deer. All that red, white, and silver looks so nice and coordinated.
ReplyDeleteThanks Justine! Yes these pictures are all taken in my home! I love red, white and silver around Christmas time and I'm very partial to a bit of gold this time of year also! I wish I could leave it up all year round but we've taken it down today.. I have left the glittery deer on the mantle though! :) ~♥~
DeleteBlessed Yule my dear, may your years be beautiful and magical as this day(the pictures are so warm and gorgeous, like a candy and a cupcake ^^) your tree looks delicious and all those presents <3 Perfection!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBelated blessed Yule to you also Magda :) Thank you so much for the compliments! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year too! ~♥~
DeleteOh, everything looks just delightful! That red and white striped bauble on the tree is soooooooo Burtonesque! :) Merry Christmas, Sandy, and best wishes for 2013! ❤
ReplyDeleteThank you Emma! :D Oh yes, they do have a little touch of Burton don't they! From now on they will be known as the Burton baubles XD ~♥~
DeleteYour Christmas decorations look absolutely adorable! But what is that delicious-looking food in the fist photo? Is it like some special chocolate from a shop or did you make it yourself? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Oh that is peppermint bark and it was the first time I had made it! It's kind of a traditional American Christmas treat, it tasted so good! ~♥~

DeleteI love your blog so much! You remind me of Wednesday Mourning from Oddities! =)

I had to look up who that was! I'm still not sure I know who you mean but anybody named Wednesday Mourning must be awesome so thank you :P ~♥~
DeleteI love those sweet flock deers and stag's heads, I'd have them up all year round! Your parcels are so prettily wrapped, too!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Xmas! x
Thanks Vix! I got the two little flocked deer from a local garden centre this year and the two large glittery stag heads from the same garden centre in 2010! They're always going to make an appearance on our tree year after year! :D ~♥~
DeleteLOVE the way you wrapped everything :) I made peppermint bark this year also! Hope all is well
ReplyDeleteThank you! I loved the wrapping paper I found this year and it wasn't expensive stuff! 3 large rolls for £5 isn't bad too bad at all and we still have some left over! ~♥~
DeleteUgh, so much pretty in one post. I love the way you wrapped your presents, those tags are so perfect. I love all the deer accents on your tree, I adore deer.

New Year's Resolutions of the Stars!
Thank you Lakota! It was almost a shame to tear into them but that's the fun of unwrapping a gift so I wasn't too bothered by it! Of course I have kept the ribbons as I'm sure they will come in handy for something! ~♥~
DeleteGorgeous photos! I love your unique wrapped presents!
ReplyDelete:D Why thank you! ~♥~
DeleteThose presents are just plain adorable!♥
ReplyDeleteWhat a briliantly pretty wrapping of the gifts! Love the theme and how you put it together:)
